The Story

Loctite AA H3151 Metal Bonding MMA Acrylic Adhesive

Loctite AA H3151 is a medium-viscosity, two-component methacrylate adhesive formulated for superior metal-to-metal bonding. Designed for use with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other substrates, this adhesive delivers exceptional impact and peel resistance. With a 1:1 mix ratio and an open time of 45–60 minutes, it allows for precise part alignment and uniform bond line thickness. Supplied in 50 mL and 400 mL cartridges, Loctite AA H3151 cures at room temperature, creating strong, durable bonds with excellent resistance to environmental conditions, vibration, and impact.

AA H3151 Features and Benefits

  • 1:1 Mix Ratio: Ensures reliable and consistent results.
  • 45–60 Minute Open Time: Provides flexibility during application for precise positioning.
  • Gap-Filling Properties: Suitable for non-sagging gaps up to 0.5" (12.7 mm).
  • Minimal Surface Preparation: Bonds effectively without extensive cleaning or preparation.
  • Impact and Vibration Resistance: Creates resilient bonds that withstand mechanical stresses.
  • Environmental Durability: Performs well in harsh environments with temperature and chemical resistance.
