The Story

Tecbond 5 Specialist Woodworking & Carpentry Hot Melt Glue Slugs

Power Adhesives Tecbond 5 is an EVA-based adhesive formulated specifically for woodworking and carpentry applications on softwoods, hardwoods, and light gauge materials. These 1-3/4" (43mm) hot melt glue slugs feature a very low viscosity that enables close bonds to be made instantly when compressed, often replacing the need for tacks and screws in assembly tasks.

Ideal for use as a temporary holding agent while other adhesives cure, these hot glue slugs function effectively as a clamp for joining Corian, granite, and quartz tops. This versatile formulation is also compatible with card, plastics, ceramics, and light gauge metals, helping achieve clean and consistent results for interior trim, drawer bottoms, and cabinet backs.
